USCT Motorsports Transmission Tunnel Perimeter Frame for installing a larger transmission into a 1966 – 1970 Dodge / Plymouth B Bodies Charger, Coronet, Roadrunner etc..

Gen3 Hemi swaps are becoming more popular and with the swap, comes the desire to run late model overdrive automatic transmissions. The perimeter frame replaces the factory restrictive floor/transmission hump and adds the structure needed when removing the center of the factory torsion bar cross member and makes room for larger automatic and overdrive transmissions. This has been tested to fit with the Chrysler NAG1 5 speed, HP70, HP90, GM 4760 & 4L80 and the Tremec Magnum 6 speed manual.

Other transmission will fit, please call with your transmission dimensions and we will help. The perimeter frame is laser cut and CNC bent to follow the contour of the factory floor and includes a laser cut and CNC bent top cover.

Made from 12ga Steel, 3/16 steel and an 18ga top cover the USCT Motorsports Transmission Tunnel Perimeter Frame requires substantial cutting, welding and grinding to install. A fully illustrated instructional manual is included and available for download on our main web site.

You MUST install a USCT Motorsports Level 1 Chassis stiffening kit (frame connectors and torque boxes) before installing the Transmission Tunnel Perimeter Frame. The frame connectors and torque boxes tie the factory unibody together and work with the Perimeter Frame to make your car strong and safe when removing the OEM factory torsion bar cross member center for transmission clearance.

Requires a Cross member (not included) for your specific transmission.
